Sonic Generations (2011), released to mark the series' twentieth anniversary, contains gameplay elements and levels from various Sonic games, including Adventure 2. With everything here, it's an exellent game and is a must-have for any Sonic fan. You can do shooting battles, or treasure hunting battles.

You can chance their appearance and attribute based on what you do to them. You can give them the Animals or Chaos Drives that you found in a level to raise their skill. You can treat them good or bad, in which makes up their attitude. Chao are little interactive things that show emotion. The big difference between the games is the classix minigame, Raising Chao. They include a classic 3D Sonic feel as in Sonic Adventure, a Treasure Hunting level, and Shooting levels. The game includes playing as either the Heroes or the Darks.
